Due to low enrollment, summer classes have been canceled at Lawrence High School, according to school officials.
Students can attend classes through a virtual school, Educere, that has programs “specifically designed to meet the needs of students who have not met with academic success,” according to the school district’s website.
The cost of summer classes range from $97.50 to $250 and is the responsibility of the student’s family. Lawrence High School and Lawrence Middle School have unique codes that must be submitted at check out to connect a student’s courses with his or her school.
